Okay, they have thier good points. For instance, they have found that children who play video games have better eye-hand coordination. Also, they found that people who play video games have quicker reaction times, and more observant. For some children it provides a great reason to read, that is how my sister learned a lot of her reading. Puzzle games are great for building brain power, they require thinking and problem solving, etc.
Anyway, some games help, some don't, either way they have positive side effects :)
