we are like jing and jang, but he's my husbands therapist. We talk about my husband (bipolar disorder) and the marriage is rocky. but i get so manybutterlies when we talk and he even told my husband that if we can't work though this. he's first in line to ask me out. Love the flattery, but the sessions are harder for me to deal with the issues and not flirt. We deal with the issues, but then it's like we talk for hours like we were in high school. Major crush is evident. Back off or keep it sparking.

Um.. and how is this supposed to make your husband feel AFTER his own therapist saying something like that? Your definitely wayyy out of line with your habits and I don't think your husband needs the help, I'm pretty sure that you do. Start having your husband go to a different therapist. What your doing is wrong and probably really hurting him and just making the marriage more rocky, if anyone is to blame in your relationship it would be you.

The therapist may be crossing a professional boundary by saying a thing like that. What you may be experiencing is transference and the therapist is not supposed to take any action or allow you to take any action when he is counselling you or someone in your family. You probably should look for another therapist as soon as possible. Anyway, I think you should at least discuss the issue of transference with another therapist before porceeding any further.

That therapist is intentionally keeping your husband down so that he can get a chance at you....you don't need his help, find another therapist. Ask yourself, how many women has he hypnotized to bed before you?
I need to change professions, I might get a lucky hit too...hehhee

Only one answer: How would YOU feel if it was the other way around? Maybe this would be OK if the marriage had already failed--- But then you wouldn't be going to the therapist

This therapist is unethical, he should be reported to whatever organization licenses him.

The role of a therapist is to help the patients that come before him, I would trust this guy with therapy to a pet gerbil.

stop stroking yourself, this guy probably tell all his clients wives the same thing. let's see, you are probably considered a good catch and easy on the eyes. right?

he's supposed to help your marriage and so are you.
