Just sew 2 pieces of fabric together, inside-out, like you would a pillow. Make sure to leave and opening at the very top, and make sure it's wide enough to fit in at least 3 fingers. Turn it right-side out, the best you can. Use a ruler to push the rest of the fabric through. Then stuff with Polyfoam. You'll probably need the ruler again. You can either safety pin it to his costumes, sew it, or attatch it to a belt. Good Luck!

Oh I read Tiger..... put a coat hanger in there too. Use a cheapy, metal one and make sure you coil it after it's put together.

I made a tail for a cat costume once by taking 2 socks ( the fuzzy ones) and stuffing them both with fiber fill and then sewing the 2 openings together...for a kid you could use 1 sock... it turned out really cute. and was SUPER easy

and since its a Tigger costume...maybe you can try stuffing a slinkie or something in the sock to make his tail springy,

Use a pair of women's black nylons or tights. Fill with pillow stuffing. If you want to make it curly (for that extra bounce that Tigger has) use a lightweight wire inside the tail.

Wire clothes hanger, black socks (cut the toes off all but one of them), and quilt batting. Have him wear a belt, and wrap the end of the hanger around the back of the belt.
Don't forget that Tigger had a spring-y tail!

Hi~ along with the other's suggestions on what to use for the fabric, etc.. you might want to look at your hardware store for some type of tubing, such as sub pump or something that looks scrunchy like his tail. Kinda like the clothes dryer vent tube only smaller. I like the slinky idea too. Good luck!

Cut (2) strips of material at about 1 1/2" wide by about 3 feet long.
With a sewing machine, sew them together at about 1/4" in from each side.
Turn it inside out and fill with any one of a number of fillers - foam rubber, or a section of garden hose, or ?

you can use a glue gun or fabric glue if you are not at sew-er. Get some felt and stuff it and use some glue. If you were sew smart you wouldn't need advice.
