what are good gamblers are doing after losing their resources, houses, in poor countries even wives, they become slaves after losing, I agree with that it makes you rich but at the same time it is making some people really poor, it is one of the easiest way to make money but its also the easiest way to lose money, I am not saying that don't gamble and not have fun, do gambling if you like but in your limits only spent a few extra bucks not your whole wealth. By the way I don't gamble, 'cause I just don't like the way people gamble in casinos. If you have really good luck then you might be able to win some good cash, I will say that you decide... whether its good for you or not. I've tried to make it as clear as I can, you can ask me anything in this answer that you don't understand. The ball is in your court.

If stupid people want to waste all their money on a chance then more power. There's no reason for us to protect people from their own stupidity. Everybody knows gambling is bad when it becomes an addiction and there is plenty of education about it and places to get help if you realize you've gone wrong. Thousands of people gamble just for fun and know when to stop. That's why I'm so pissed about white people going after Indian casinos. It's completley retarded, just like all the gambling addicts who go broke.

No, betting has been a part of human culture forever. Here in Ohio we will be voting on allowing slots at race tracks and it is mostly church groups who oppose it. We have a state lottery, churches have bingo and raffles, and we have horse racing, but for some reason putting money in a slot and pulling a handle is evil. I don't understand this at all. I don't gamble because I'm not a risk taker, but I should be allowed to spend my money or even throw it away if I want because it is my money.

Gambling can become evil if a person abuses it like drugs or alcohol. I know 2 people who are so totally addicted to gambling that they have actually embezzled money to keep their habit. It's a shame to watch them because they would rather gamble than eat or sleep. Both have lost their families and one lost his job and home and everything else and still gambles.

I don't think so. Gambling can just be one of the means that could lead to evil. But I would say that the basic root of all evils is GREED.

Gambling in itself is not evil. But, it can turn into an evil addiction for some. The addiction, can lead to self destructive behavior. It can also lead to suicide. I learned this in my AA groups I go to three times a week.
