It's not advisable to rebuild calipers yourself. As someone said kits are seals only. You need honing equipment, lots of other tools and luck that it lasts. Calipers are not that expensive, shop around and you will be surprised how varied the prices are for re manufactured ones, they at least carry a warranty.

Just replace both calipers. I know it sounds spendy but you will be having a headache you don't want if you mess with it yourself. If you only replace one you will most likely be replacing the other one soon. If you are asking questions regarding the difficulty level of this task, that is not a good sign. It will be more than you can handle. Are you sure it is the caliper sticking? What about the brake hose? Does the caliper release when you open the bleeder? If it does then the hose is probably bad. If you open the bleeder and still cant get the piston to release it is the caliper. Don't cut corners, you will regret it.

first know the difference between rebuilt and remanufactured-that 10 dollar kit is just the seals ,the reman caliper will or should have new pistons and paint as well as seals, also that seems high for reman calipers you should also be getting pads and hardware at that price-ask if caliper is LOADED or UNloaded, some shops are starting to only handle unloaded calipers and give me a song and dance ,I just call my suppliers til i find LOADED calipers as they have EVERTHING,pads and hardware etc.lastly REPLACE BOTH! if you are saving $ on labor do not cheap out on parts-2 REMAN LOADED CALIPERS and have rotors miced and turned!!!

You should be able to buy reman calipers cheaper than that.If you spend 11.00 on a kit and your time and labor you most likely will be spending more $ if it fails.Best advice I can give is to just replace the caliper.
