Friend of mine is going through some trouble with his sex life with his wife. He seems to be deep in love with her and reaches out for her a lot, but she rarely seems inclined to having sex. If he doesn't ask her to have sex, she might go a week or two without any of it. What can I advice my friend in order to help him?

Well, maybe she's cheating on him....I hope that is not true...maybe he should take out to dinner, the movies, a little dancing, maybe even a walk in the park...married life becomes so boring..maybe a little romance like they had when they were courting..will get the juices flowing again(no pun intended)

She needs to get something good out of sex--do whatever it takes to turn her on (then she'll want it). If she is not turned on, she won't have an orgasm, and will get absolutely nothing from sex other than feeling a bit used. He needs to set the mood first, then experiment a bit. Nothing will work until she is willing to try--she needs to be willing for feel vulnerable with him. He cannot do it alone.

Well she was obviously turned on once. Maybe he needs to try something different like role playing. Get out of town go walking on the beach get a room get dressed up and maybe even get some toys for a little more excitement. Maybe she needs to get out of a rut. Maybe she needs her blood checked for low tsh level like men get low on testosterone.

Try romance make her feel special the full works. Blokes think sex. Women think romance that leads to sex

move on or have an affair... the odds of increasing her drive is about as good as winning the lottery. I've tried this for 21 years... there is NOTHING he can do... she is just using him for his money and for her emotional needs... if he was my friend I would say MOVE ON!

I have no idea. I guess if the whole "asking" thing works, then he should continue to do that. Or he could just confront her about it and see what her response is.

best leave this up to the two of them... you shouldn't get involved or you'll risk loosing both of their friendships. If he's telling you this personal stuff about his marriage, I can't help but wonder what his motives are... stay away from him

They have a new drug for women to increase sex drive. Of course she would have to want to try it.
