A good question so i shall answer it the way most Americans feel, first they can sit by as they have done and do nothing about the illegal immigration issue, second they can make sure the big drug companies continue to make their profits by not giving us national health care, third they can continue to pass laws that are geared toward taking away our freedoms as guaranteed by the Constitution namely keep on with the torture, the patriot act, the wiretaps, etc. then there is the look out for the rich so that the jobs of America can continue to go overseas cause they will not pass appropriate legislation to name but a few.

They could keep on losing in non election related issues. Iraq war, Afghanistan, Hurricane disaster issues, etc.
