I live in a small town and the weekends are so boring. Everyone else my age just gets drunk and has sex. I don't like to get drunk because I feel like crap the next morning and I'm not ready to have sex. Some people will go to the movies but there are no movies that I want to see. What should I do on a Saturday night in a small town?

hahaha...we used to sit around in the Safeway Parking lot in the back of our trucks drinking and listening to music, while we talked.

Yeah it was boring as hell...

Duuuude...you have a computer hooked to the Internet! You can access sites from all over the world, play games, chat with people of every nationality, find any kind of knowledge you need...and you're bored???
Seriously, I used to live in a small town just like yours. If I'd had a computer then, I hardly would have noticed the cultural inbreds around me. Count your blessings.

The answer is found in one word - PASSION.
No matter where you live or who you are with or the circumstances that surround your life presently, if you have found your PASSION - pursue it and happiness is all yours!

You may ask me how then can I find my PASSION? The answer lies inside you. What activity gets you so riled-up and excited you must do it? What is your thirst for knowledge?

I tell you It may be a Saturday Night or even any other day of the week at the weirdest hours but I can stay 'wired' doing what my PASSION asks of me.

First I gotta say you should be proud of yourself for not caving to peer pressure and not doing what everyone else does...humm if you had a group of like minded friends and I imagine you do, you could get together and bowl, play games, watch old movies and provide cheesy dialog...all sorts of things.

you could hang out with your family, go ice scating, go shopping, listen to music, makeout, watch t.v., watch a dvd, go to the movies, stuff your face with cake, bake, call your friends, count your blessings, sleep, relax, clean the house, bungee jump, sit around and think, take a bubble bath or hot shower, play with your pets, call your old high school friends (I have't ever done it but you can give it a shot), research somthing you are intrested in on the computer, lay in bed and read, read a magizine, read a book, go to Wal Mart for the heck of it, drive around for no reason, e-mail your friends, ect.

Anything that's remotely any fun, or worth spending a bit of time with. I tend to draw and write when it's too dark to go outside, but that's just me. Have fun!

Darn, I was about to suggest going to the movies. How about meeting up with a bunch of friends to go out to eat. Then you all can come up with some ideas on what to do then. :):):)
