No. IE7 will not run on Windows 2000.

Previous versions of IE don't have tabbing.

Try Firefox instead. http://www.getfirefox.com

unfortunatly, microsoft is leaving you in the cold. It's for xp and vista only. I highly reccomend you stop using IE6, because at some point, if not all ready, they are going to stop patching the security flaws in it and you computer is going to extremely vulnerable to spyware and viruses.
Since microsoft is leaving you, it's time you leave micosoft. download firefox since IE7 isn't an option for you anyway. Another option is opera. both of them are good. Opera's features are way cooler than firefox's, but firefox is a better browser because it's more reliable and loads more pages correctly. Both of them have tabs. both of them are more secure and safer to use than IE 6.

ya this has been facilitate through new version of IE 7.0..there are many tabs but NEVER EVER INSTAL IE 7.0 ..if u do ..u would be the next victim of IE 7.0...this version is not reliable...dont do this ..Never install it..because there are many many bugs in this version which will COLLAPSE u entire WINDOWS. and even there is no "UNINSTALLER" attached with this version...DONT DO IT...."""I HAVE MANY TIMES I SUGGEST MY DEAR USERS TO NOT TO INSTALL IE 7.0 BUT..." its my clear recommendations again..that DONT DO INSTALL IT..
2 - THIS facility is in Firefox and it is the best Browser fully compatible..http://www.firefox.com i recommend this..
another is http://www.netscape.com ...it has also many tabs...chaoo
