I think Walt Disney's main goal, despite the above mentioned prejudice against gays and money, was to provide quality entertainment for children.

At the time, there were virtually no children's movies being put out there. With the creation of Mickey Mouse, and later movies like Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, etc., Disney cashed in on a market that had been overlooked up to that point.

Despite the controversies regarding Walt Disney's (the company, not the man) inclusion of homosexuality in a child-related market today, Walt Disney (the man) worked very very hard to provide movies/shorts/etc. that would be entertaining for children AND would be high quality.

It wasn't until Michael Eisner or Roy Disney were in charge that Walt Disney (the company) veered off the original goal of providing high quality entertainment specifically for children.

unlike cartoons in the previous, Walt DIsney positioned his coronary heart in his video clips. He delivered exhilaration to anybody. even notwithstanding cartoons are for the underage, many adults loved his video clips. He were given ideas that no one has.
