I am moving, and I am shipping everything. Does anyone know how much it would cost me to ship a box that weighs, oh lets say... 20 lbs? Anyone have any ideas?

The US Postal Service has a calculator on its site. Theoretically, if you were to ship a package from Chapel Hill to Los Angeles using Parcel Post, it would cost $27.53.

I ship a great deal and it is pretty expensive, for a 34 lbs box I sent it was $34. But that was from So. CA. to No.CA. I shipped a box from Ca to AL and it was $22 so I think about $40+. Glad to hear your moving out of California, best wishes.

UPS and FEDEX among others (postal service?) have on-line calculators.

Postal will probably be least costly...

Hope that helps.
