Wouldn't that be an ironic turn of events. Truthfully, I don't think the two countries have enough in common to merge in that way.

Britain has way too much history to give up its independence, i may be an american, but i would hate to see us turn into an empire. history tells us almost all empires fall apart, and take the mother country with them. Our leaders do suck though. The things are going right now iraq will become our 51st state because we are never going to leave if we "Stay the course"

I think we'd need more of a partnership than have the UK subsumed into us. I think we should pull in the Commonwealth countries too, but there is that French element in Canada that may not be keen. The Aussies are cool, though.

Yeah, Mexico would probably be first! but, i dont like Bush!!!! He has messed so many things up!

I like both the leaders of US and UK. I however do not like the fact that the UK gets taxed so heavily and I saw it reported that they also lead the world highest property taxes. Man......talk about no taxation without representation. .......
