It is time to grow up. She did not steal him -- what is he? Is he a doll that is incapable of speaking out? It takes two. He went with her, she did not kidnap him.

So if she presses charges against you and you tell the judge what you have written here in your question, what reaction do you think you would get?

Are you missing a conscience? Better get in touch with it quick.

Let us say you have a daughter and your daughter did what you did. How would you feel about it? How far in life do you think she would get if she refused to see reality?

I am sorry you lost your boyfriend, but you have no idea what he has told her about you. And the bottom line is he left you. Get over him and try to stay out of jail while you do it. She is young, you are young -- as you mature, you will have a better understanding about all of this.

In the meantime, let us hope she has no internal bleeding.

Nah, you're not a bad person. I hope you knew in advance that she wouldn't a) hit back and b) sue you! That's the only thing I can think of that would make me not in the same situation! Of course, it sounds like you hit hard enough to put her out of commission for a while, so she couldn't hit back, but beware of lawyers!

A little impule control might come in handy--nobody can steal what wasn't available--feel lucky she didn't file assault charges.
