LOL You poor thing. Well it won't last forever...someday you'll be all grown up and out of the house and no longer having to deal with that. But someday...whey you are getting old it will probably be fond and funny memories, but for now...how corny. lol

I always kind of wished my parents would dress up on Halloween, but they just weren't into that.

We do these things because we love you, and to give you embarassing memories of a family thing you did when you were still at home under our protective umbrella. We do these things so when we are old, we can look back at the photos and laugh and remember when we were all still together. We do these things so you can show your children how silly Gramma and Grampa were, and to help remind you that no matter how much time passes, and how grown up you become, you are and will forever be our precious children. (We are going with the Austin Powers theme this year...)

lol it's so funny. I think it would suck from the kids point of view. But as a young mother i would dress my family like that but do something they wanted like a peter pan theme and only if they wanted, maybe talk to your parents about how you feel, they should listen. They probably just want memories of the family doing cute things together ... poor you : (

Because Halloween is a great time to let go of your inhibitions and enjoy looking stupid/funny! When you're older you'll look back on this as the "good old days." Go along with the fun.

Just be thankful that your family want to spend time with you, some kids don't have that much love from their mom and dad. I wish when I was a child that my parents had that kind of time to spend with me.

okay, this what you gotta do. Step 1: stand right in front of your mom. Step 2: Slap some sence into your mom. and look at your dad and say, youre next Batman

It's cool, you have a creative family. You have a family, think about it. Some kids have nothing, you're messed up for asking this, or mentioning it. There are 60.000 people on Answers kid, What are you doing? You have a great life, thank God for this...

That is because your parents need to let their inner-child out for a night!

Just have fun and go with the flow - eventually you will look back as these times with a smile

I think Halloween is for little kids, obviously you are not. I think parents do that cause they did not get to celebrate when they were little and they missed out on that part of their life usually so they are trying to make up for it. Going out like that or greeting treaters like that? Going out, ridiculous, greeting treaters, stay in for room and pretend to be ill.

Because if you set aside the fact that you care too much about what other people think about you and your family its fun.

Too bad people cant just have fun without worrying about weather its cool or not.
