When I registered her, I was concerned about fraud, so I didn't put in her real birthdate or our real zip code. Now I don't know it! I don't want to have her e-mail account deleted, I want to see the e-mails she's been sending because I think she may be getting into trouble.

Make her give it to you. You have a right to know what is being posted on your account. My husband and I have a "Big Brother" system that we can check everything coming in or going out. I don't care what anyone says, when it is in my house, and my legal responsibility and my child's safety is concerned I will do whatever I need to do to protect them. And yes, my kids DO know about the "big brother" program. Think about the teenager who was recently caught posting a threat to President Bush on Myspace. The FBI got ahold of the records and had a meeting with her. I bet her parents wish they had known what she was up to before the FBI came knocking on their door!

No I didn't get this e mail and it is surly a primitive way from an amateur Hacker to have your password. Be aware that yahoo (as an E mail provider) is committed by law to keep and save all the users data (whatever it is correct or not ) and back it up. From another hand every time we log in yahoo, we send ( through the log form ) to yahoo data base our PW and e mail address which captured and compared with the data which yahoo has and under his control. If for whatever reason yahoo has lost this data (your e mail and password), you will not be able to log in P&S and post this question :-) Be save

u should ask her for it. If she refuses explain to her that you love her and its in her best interest. If she still says no then you should delete her email account. But remember that she needs privacy and dont snoop all of the time. Only when u think something bad is happening.

Well...I'm not going to tell you because you're handling it wrong.

TALK to your daughter. Don't just snoop into her private things. Talk to her, ask her, she'll appreciate it more.

And please, that Bush threat on Myspace was nothing. The FBI is just too overprotective to even the smallest things. It's their job.

...Lord help me if the FBI sees that...
