I am moving, and I am shipping everything. Does anyone know how much it would cost me to ship a box that weighs, oh lets say... 20 lbs? Anyone have any ideas?

Go to www.usps.com and click on "calculate postage". Give your information and it will tell you exactly how much it will cost.

I ship a great deal and it is pretty expensive, for a 34 lbs box I sent it was $34. But that was from So. CA. to No.CA. I shipped a box from Ca to AL and it was $22 so I think about $40+. Glad to hear your moving out of California, best wishes.

you can go to usps.com or ups.com There on both you can calculate the price. But you need the weight and all the dimensions of the package(s). if by usps it can not be over 108 inch's total. if by ups you still need the weight and measures of them. Check them both, then you can compare the difference yourself The other thing is to check to see if you can send it by book rate (media mail) this would be the best way to check it out. this is by U.S.P.S. I am not sure if they do it at U.P.S.

Best of luck and and thank you both. For your service

The rate is not only based on weight but on dimensions as well.
