Implantation bleeding is really just spotting. However, some women do continue to have periods (lighter than normal) when they're pregnant. I had them for the first 3 months of my first pregnancy (scared the you-know-what out of me too).

Question

What is implantation bleeding? When does it occur and how long does it last?

Answer

Occasionally a fertilized egg will cause a little bit of bleeding when is settles into the uterus. This would occur about 3 days after ovulation. Most people ovulate about 13-14 days after the start of their last period. Honestly, though this rarely ever occurs. If you are having bleeding in the middle of your cycle it is more likely you have an infection or some other problem that should be checked out.

Take a pregnancy test asap!!! If you are 7 weeks then it will be showing up on a pregnancy test that you are. Try http://www.peeonastick.com about pregnancy tests.

Good luck

Implantation bleeding is usually a few spots of blood when you wipe. Sometimes enough for you to want to wear a panty liner for a day, but rarely enough to need more than that. If you think you are more than 7 weeks pregnant, you need to be getting prenatal care from a doctor. If you can get an ultrasound now, given the confusion in how many weeks pregnant you are, the doctor can date your pregnancy and give you a more accurate due date. You typically want your first visit to be between 6 and 8 weeks, so call your OB/GYN's office and get yourself an appointment!

Some people have periods right through their pregnancy. But from what i have read before, implantation bleeding is only spotting really and shouldnt be as heavy as a period although every woman is different.
As for pregnancy test, again some women dont get a positive for weeks after their expected period.
Wait a few days and test again.

I don't remember my stomach being hard in the beginning. However, I used an EPT kit on my second child. It tested positive when I would have been about 5 wks along. The test came with 2 kits so I gave it to a friend who was also late. It tested positive. She went to the doctor to have a blood test & confirmed that she was also pregnant. I would suggest you go to the doctor. There could be other health problems that could cause you to be late. If you exercise a lot for example. Good Luck

I strongly urge you to take a pregnancy test. If you suspect you are seven weeks pregnant then why haven't you taken one already??? Implantation bleeding is different for everyone...could just last a few minutes, could last a few days. Go get that test and/or call your doc for a blood test.

Why do you think you are pregnant? Are you having signs other than a unusual period? When was your last period, when are you due for your next? This might help you get some better answers.
