You did not specify where it is the odor located it could be in your body or in a room ....if it is in your body the best thing to do it is to have a bath in a thub with soda hammer , do not apply anything with fragrance....if it is in your clothes you can left it soak on water and soap for a few hours change the water every time you remember and then wash it with warm water ......if it is on a room the best thing to do it is to wash the floor and pass a wet cloth on the walls and furniture ....then place small limes cuts in half in each corner or place you think it is convenient...the lime should be the greenest limes and also try to peel them a little bet and left the peels in different spots..the best way to faith with odors it is with no fragrance

If the floor, damp mop it slightly... then let it air out very well.. then with a mixture of pine sol and water.. moisten mop it again if it is a wood floor.. if linoleum/tile, then go ahead and mop it several times with pine sol/water

I would put the book in a plastic air tight bag along with one of those little car deodorizer trees and leave it in there for a couple of days. Did you try wiping the book off with a damp cloth first? Good Luck!

Try the bags of volcanic rocks you can find at linen stores and some catalogs. They absorb odors really well.

If it's on clothing, I suggest dry cleaning. If it's in the house use the strongest cleaning producets you have, and be patient - it will take time and a lot of airing.
