How do I enable my keyboard to do those weird symbols.(Ex:Alt+45454) I can do it at school, but not on my computer, how do I get my computer to? Dell computer;dell keyboard; Windows XP!

If you can't get the Character Map to come up, then go to ADD/REMOVE PRograms and click on Windows Components (or simular) then drill down to the Character Map and put a tic next to it, you may or may not need your XP disk after you apply. If it already has a tic, then take it out, restart your computer, go back and put it back in... good luck.. :-)

you dont have to enable your keyboard for it. just punch the keys in when your typing... to get a complete list of these characters... click start then run then type in CHARMAP( its not case sensitive, just wanna emphasize it)then click ok.
