Teenagers are entering a normal stage of rebellion, if your too strict you will just feed into that rebellion. Think of it this way, shes at home where you can monitor her to make sure so is having safe conversations for an appropriate amount of time. Remember pick your battles, this is not one to fight.
-I was a rebellious teen, hopefully I helped-

I think when it comes to children and dicipline etc we r all different but, as far as for me when my daughter I will allow her to talk to a boy but first she will b asked a lot of questions so what do kids your age have to talk about. Maybe the start of the mother nature talk as well because its a way for our children to let us no without realizing it that they have become interested in boys or girls enough to want to talk on the phone.I would also make clear that I would be monitoring his or her calls until I feel comfortable enought o leave you alone on the phone with the opposite sex.I hope this helps a little.I am not saying this is good I am reminding myself of what it was like at that age and it was time for that talk cause you heard all about it at school anyway.I would rather my kids hear it told properly from me.Anyway good luck.

It's OK for her too talk on the phone with boys but you really should set a limit. a couple of hrs is plenty long enough for her too be on the phone with these boys. She will put up a fuss for a while but she'll be ok. I had two teenage girls and believe me when they were 13 they would have stayed on the phone for hours also if i would have let them lol..Set her a time limit, she will thank you later on in life.

I think it's fine to talk on the phone with boys when they're 13 but definitely not for hours. I would limit the time she's on the phone.

I'd be a bit concerned as they are not direct friends, and if they're teenage boys they generally engage in conversation as a means to an end rather than for intellectual stimulation. You need to know what exactly they're talking about - never mind her privacy, a lot of stupid makes can be made at 13 - they think they know best and it's only until years later that they realise they don't! It could, of course, be totally harmless.

Sweetie, you're literally not fat. in case you lose seventy 5 pounds you'd be very underweight and not in any respect healthful in any respect. in basic terms devour in good structure and also you'll be advantageous. this is no longer solid for all of us to crash eating routine yet pretty at any such delicate age. i comprehend this is demanding to attend to the way your body ameliorations yet you want to communicate over with someone, an man or woman that you'll believe. this is important so that you do not finally end up with an eating ailment and somewhat damage your body. The chart i found on your age shows that you ought to no longer weigh below 95 pounds. the better reduce relies upon upon your body structure truly.

I think it is fine. I have a son who is 15 and he is always talking to girls on the phone and has since he was 12 or 13. My son is a great kid, I couldn't be luckier. Only 3 more years and she will be driving, that is even scarier. She is growing up, she will be fine.

Problem with girls of this age is that they tend to have low self esteem and only interested in what boys think of them. If she is talking to 13 year old boys, no problem, cos they tend to be sexually immature and it is probably innocent stuff. If older boys you may have a potential problem. Talk to the kid and find out if she as any other interests except boys and try to help her develop as a holistic individual!
