On a regular basis? I mean, is it tight so that you can feel it all day long, or do you not notice it? I'm trying to figure out why my pants won't stay up, even with a belt. And I wear it pretty tight. Do I need to wear it so tight that it's a little uncomfortable?

What's your waist size, and what size are the pants you're trying to wear? If you've got a skinny waist and giant pants, then first of all, you need to reconsider your choice of fashion, and secondly, you need to overhaul your wardrobe. When I wear a belt, I don't even notice it.

I don't really think about it much these days but I did used to know this guy who couldn't keep from showing his butt and the problem with him was that he did not pull his pants HIGH enough before he sinched his belt. Everybody used to say "hey Larry, PULL YOUR PANTS up!" My belt is 2 or 3 inches below my navel. Don't wear your pants like hiphuggers.

Good luck though!!

I just wear a belt tight enough for its intended purpose - to keep looser pants from falling...

Well, being totally honest, I only wear my belt as an accessory (not really for holding up my jeans). But I try and find jeans that fit me in the first place. Try that.

Just pull it till you feel it snug then use the nearest hole.

Your body shape may be why your pants don't stay up. If your belly is big and your butt small, that's why.

Pull it tight and put in the loop, once looser than it.
