The ACLU protects EVERYONES freedom, and has gone to court many times for christians so that they would not have their rights infringed upon.

They also help homosexuals, communists and all the other fringe groups, which I suspect is your REAL problem.

If YOU want freedom, you have to let EVERYONE have freedom.

While I really dislike the ACLU and do truly beleive they are more dangerous to America than the terrorist will ever be.

Sadly some people who call thierself Christian don't have solid Chrsitian values, Too many are far to liberal and actually support many of the anti christian teachings.

The ACLU at one time actually helped some Christians and once in a blue moon they make some errro and they do work for a Christian,

From what they do, they appear to have an agenda to make it illegal to be a Christian one day in America

Because the ACLU was originally founded as a communist cause. Its purpose, in 1917, was to PROTECT aliens threatened with deportation, and U.S. nationals threatened with criminal charges by U.S. Attorney General Alexander Mitchell Palmer for their communist or socialist activities and agendas.

Today, their stated mission is "to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States". It's obvious that they have gone way beyond and totally over the top on their so-called "mission". They're simply getting back to their original (communist) roots.

Do them a favor and send them a religious Christmas card this year.

Regardless of the pro ACLU answers to the question (forgive them father for they know not what they do) this is an organization of a bunch of heathens that are trying to alter our culture to where it will have no moral values or christian beliefs. The constitution says NOTHING about separation of church and state and the creators of the constitution let their beliefs in a higher power be known time and again. Read "Culture Warrior" by Bill O'Reilly. Besides the war on terror, we also have a culture war raging.

The answer is you have the right to practice your religion any way you want, but do not bring it to a public place that is supported by tax payers, everyone does not believe as you do. They have a right to practice their religion the way that they wish but they have to leave it outside the door when they come in also. It is called seperation of church and state. I highly dought any ACLU member hates religion.

aclu stands for anti Christians lawyer unions, it is now ran by a
stout homosexual, who believes, sex should be allowed between adult males and boys. Its true...ever heard of Nambla...

IT was founded by a communist/socialist. I am sure in 10 years,
a pedophile will be running the organization.

If they are for the rights of the citizen, how come they never take their cause unless its against our country, Christians, our founding beliefs.

Wow, so the organization that fights for equality and justice is against the guy who preached brotherly love and equality? Amazing. Frickin' amazing.

Here's a question: how do Christians who claim that it is against Jesus to maintain the separation of church and state square that with Christian teachings? Didn't Jesus say that it was better to pray in a closet where no one could see you than to trumpet your piety to the world? In fact, didn't he devote a goodly portion of his time preaching against the people who need to show off their piety? Why do we need mandatory prayers in public schools and other governmental areas when Jesus would clearly prefer us to keep ourselves humble and our religion private?

Seriously re-think your position, please. The American Civil Liberties Union works to ensure your first ammendment rights to worship, or not worship, as you please. It will be up to God to judge you.
