You can go for a conversion because that is part of the play.

In the NFL the conversion is considered an extension of the touchdown - regardless of whether the 1 or 2 point conversion will affect the ultimate outcome of the game, so, in your scenario, yes, the team gets to kick for their conversion to win, if successful - overtime if not. And, a game cannot end on a defensive penalty - one last play must be run even with no time on the clock.

If someone scores a touchdown in the final second of the game they will be able to kick the extra point even if the clock is at 0.

Yes they do. The extra point is a continuation of the TD play and is allowed even though time has run out. NFL rules makes the team kick the extra point whether or not they want to kick it.

yes, they get to kick the extra point regardless. also, the game cannot end on a defensive penalty. so let's say there's 1 second left and your down by 6. you throw a pass and there is defensive interference in the end zone with no time on the clock. you would get to run 1 play from the 1 yard line, and if you score, you also get to kick the extra point to win the game. in that senario, there would be 2 plays run with no time left on the clock.

Yes the team who has scored is able to kick the extra point if it has meaning in the outcome of the game. If they score to put them up by 1, then the game is over.

They can kick an extra point or go for a two point conversion but they will only attempt it if it has an effect on the actual outcome of the game.

No, they get the kick. Also a game cannot end with a deffensive penalty. So if time expiers on a play but the deffense commits a penalty, even though time has expired the offence gets another play.
