its getting more complicated and boring as it goes on.in the last one Michael and his son are released, has anyone seen anymore after this episode? what happens?

It is pretty confusing. After Michael and his son were released, Saywer, Jack, Kate and Hurley went I think to find The Others, while Sayid Sun and Jin went out to spot them or to come in case there was any trouble. Saywer, Kate and Jack winded up being captured by the Others, while Hurley was sent back to the camp and Sayid et al were still waiting on a signal from Jack.
Meanwhile on the Island, Locke was disbelieving in the power of pushing the button so he resolved to stop doing it, much to the chagrin of Mr. Eko. The winded up not pushing the button, and there was some weird flash of white light like an electromagnetic field thing was set off.
Cut to the new season where Jack is being held in a prison under water while Kate and Sawyer are being held in cages outside being held by the Others, we're not sure why yet.
The Others as it turns out seems to be a colony of people living on one side of the island.
Locke seemed to go crazy and I'm not sure what's up with him...well I hope it helps a bit!

Oh gosh I have watched it since but I don't really understand it. To tell the truth, I am kinda getting bored with the whole thing. It was addictive at first but now I can take it or leave it. I find it boring.
