I have an Old friend I've Known since third grade. we are not that close of friends but I've Known her forever. She is a very hard luck lady who always has one problem or another. I usually try to be supportive. She definitely could rival anybody on the Jerry Springer Show!. Well lately she has been married about 3 yrs now to a Man I've never Met. She's Told me that he is wanting to have a Sex Change before and now Out of the Blue she calls and wants to bring him to a Halloween trail that some friends and I put on.
I dont care how she lives her Life that is her Business. But this trail is not at My house and I know that people will have a problem having this transgender wanna be around their kids. Should I just Flat out tell her she isnt welcome?
I have fore warned my friends and the Reaction was not good. one friend suggested leaving the blade on the chainsaw for that person :-s

I would Add that IF it was an Adult get together I'd feel different, But I don't think its a good Idea with many kids around.

You can assertively say that it is an invitation only function and you are not hosting the event so you have no control over the guest list,or give the wrong address or call Jerry Springer and get tickets for your friend the day of the event.lol

I would be kind and say ,,,,You are in a different stage of your life
right now ,,,a different realm from before and although I have always
been accepting of your choices in life ,,this party is not mine to
choose the guests ,,,so I really cannot super impose on the host
or hostess of this party or gathering ,,,,I am sorry but you would
have to be invited by the host or hostess and it is not my place to
invite anybody ,,it is not just you ,,,I know you understand my
position here ,,,I have no say in the invitations ,,,maybe we can
see each other on some other occasion ,,I do hope you
understand ,,it is out of my hands ,,I cannot do whatever I want
concerning this party ,,,nor can I invite anyone else ,,,

if i was you i would talk to her and ask her if she really wants to have a sex change and what her answer is respect it.
