I'm planning on getting a go phone for my kid because the have decent prices but I'm thinking on getting them a firefly she's 12
can you tell me the prices,plans,and what you think I should get her?

it is sosoooo good. my friends they dont hav reception in the scool building but i hav cingular and it is soooo clear!

I had Cingular a few years ago and we didn't like it. Then we got Verizon and I liked it a lot better. Now, for reasons too long to list here, we have Cingular again and I don't care what the commercials say, they can't have the fewest dropped calls. Every time I call anyone long distance, I get dropped about every 30 minutes. I also get dropped about every 6 -8 local calls. I don't remember enough about the firefly but I know she will probably use it a lot more than you think unless you only let her call home. If she can call her friends you had better get a lot of minutes! And be careful with the text messaging. When we changed to Cingular this last time, we let our two kids (14 and 19) do text messaging and they promised to keep it at a limit. We had several bills of $200+ and $300+ because the bills come in almost a month after the usage cycle ends and we nor they realized what they were doing. Yikes! Now we have a plan for the texting and they have to pay if they go over.

I think Cingular is awesome! I've only had it for a year and I love it! I get reception where most of my friends don't. My battery stays charged for ages, even when I make a lot of calls. It is your best bet for a first phone.

i have cingular it is GOOOOOD. i live at the border of the US and MEX. when im at Mexico it works. when im at skool it has reception but that not that much. it still works though. if u dont live at the very b order of mex and us then it is even greater

ok um your a mother and you like hannah montana? ok..... um personally cincular suck and so does t-mobile. try verizon. it made me thuper happy.....! :)
