I am doing an intake and output chart. If a person drinks eight ounces of water I need to know how many CC's to put down.

There are 30cc in one ounce. Therefore, the math is 8 (ounces) X 30 (cc) = 240cc

I suggest you use the same formula that nurses use instead of the gibberish above me however accurate it may be. This is how we convert fluid ounces into cc's/mL's for I & O. If there's anything else I can help you with, click on my screen name and drop me a line.

Score 2 for the nurses, 0 for Stuart.

How many cc's in an ounce would be the better question. mililiters and cc's are the same. There are 1000 cc's in a liter. Look at a bottle or can in your kitchen and convert cc's to ounces.

I believe a quart 32 oz are somewhat close to a liter. 1000 cc's

1 US fluid ounce = 29.5735297 cc

1 cc = 0.0338140226 US fluid ounce

There are 236 ½ cc on 8 ounces. Glad no one is trying to push an extra 3 ½ cc's on me.
