Spray stains with stain remover. After about ten minutes, get a fingernail brush or a toothbrush. Turn on the faucet. Make sure the water is warm, but not hot. Squirt on some Dawn or Ajax dish detergent and scrub with the brush, being careful with the front foam part. You don't want to crease or wrinkle it. Rinse well. Do not wring it out. Reshape, and put it over a bowl or cannister that's the right size to dry. It helps to have a towel under the bowl to catch the drips. I think they make form-fitted things that you put the hats on to wash in the washer, but I've always had good luck doing it this way.

The light , delicate cycle of a washing machine, use a bit of wash soap, if the cap is white use a bit of bleach. Small cycle, of course, then let it stand out to dry. Worked for me. If you feel it will not work for you then, scrub with a washing brush and washing soap, sit out to dry. Good luck.

it all depends on how you want the hat to look afterward... if you want it as nice and straight as the day you bought it than put it in a ball cap frame and use the dishwasher, if you like the bill curved, wash it in the washing machine with a rolled up towel in the bill and a rubberband or two to keep it in place, but let it stand to dry. if it doesnt matter, or you like the tattered look, just toss it in the washer and dryer.

Wash it right in the machine, using cold or warm water. Make sure you use some shout or something if it is REALLY dirty. When the wash is finished, do NOT put the hat in the dryer! Take it out, shape it with your hands, and then put it right on your head, wet! Seriously, wear it for about 5 minutes or so, or even wear it until it's dry - it will mold back to the shape of your head, and in most cases, will fit better than before. I do this with ALL my hats..

Ball up a small hand towel and shove it into the hat...then place in the top rack of the dishwasher and wash away! Remove the hat before the high heat dry cycle and set it out to dry.

You can wash it by hand in cold water , or delicate , cold in machine .Do not dry it . Try to find a 2 pound coffee can ,take the lid off , stretch hat on and let dry .I've used this method many times and it reshapes also.

well, if the cap is plastic, throw it in the washer with like colors...no bleach, just detergent on COLD water, with a delicate cycle. if its cardboard or something that water would ruin, by hand, in a sink, with warm water and a little detergent, but be sure to rinse it well! do not dry it in a dryer, let it air dry, otherwise, it will be damaged. good luck! :)
