I think many people will accept, because he is great. I also like England plays as the way ManUtd plays in the 1990s. So I think he's the best fit for England manager.

I certainly would. He would have won England the World Cup after all. Think what the team would be like if he WAS the manager? He is a very intelligent man with a lot of top-level experience. He is also used to getting under-achieving teams winning again (Mat Utd of the mid 80s) and and 'little teams' transcending (early 80s Aberdeen). The team would play with pride, passion and fire in their hearts, and there would be no comfort zone for star players.

Sir Alex would go down as a legend in English history if he was to acheive said glory. He should be welcomed as manager of England. Besides, he's more English than Sven and he certainly wouldn't cost the FA as much. Sir Alex for England! (after he wins the premiership this year!)

Personally, I cant stand him but if he had the England job, I would give him my full backing and hope that we won the world cup under his guidance. It is however the players that win the cup, not the manager, the manager just helps the players.

But why are we talking about this, at the moment, Steve McClaren is the manager and everyone should be behind him and not even mentioning other managers.

Alex Ferguson has said that the F.A appointing him England coach would be a chance to get revenge for the Highland Clearances!!! I do not think that there is a chance in hell that he would lower himself to take that poisoned chalice!!

Fergi has all the ingrediants of becoming the three lions' manager. See how he gets lead of some of the best players in Man U. Becky, Roy Keane, Van the Man, Phil Neville, Nick But etc. I know he will surely drop Ronaldo, Rooney,Scholes, Saha, Giggs in the same trend.

Therefore he can drop Rooney, Crouch, Steve G, Lampard and who else???? NONE!!!!!!!

I like any manager who can fail the Three Lions. Bravo!!! Erikson!!!!!!!!!

people would understand what and appreciate what a great manager he finally was. it's a shame that he'd have to do that to get the same kind of respect arsene wenger gets. i mean, it's not like ferguson behaves like mourinho and he's won a lot more than wenger

each significant championship you bum your team up lots which you're so upset whilst they lose. Sorry to tell you, they at the instant are not that stable. specific you have great gamers yet they do no longer gel as a team. communities like Argentina, Italy and Brazil will continually be greater effective.
