hi i have a celeron d 2.6ghz computer with a ati radeon 256mb x1600pro agp graphics card with 768mb ram would this be good for games ? or what shoud i change to make it better

I agree, you should get more RAM. Your graphics card seems to be pretty good, even though you have an AGP and not a PCI-E platform.

Save your money for a new system, but in the mean time, get more RAM.

graphics are good, processor's good. you might as well squeeze in 256mb more ram and go for the gig, or even two if you want to be REAL safe. I run fine with just one (ddr2, in dual channel), but friends of mine swear by two (for ram-intensive games like battlefield 2).

"You change nothing" You should be able to play just about any game on the internet,You have enough of everything to go at it,just injoy,your machine,Remember this 2.6ghrts is two trillion words per min,that your machine will except,and your memory is big enough to last you a life time,"The key" to your success is to not down load the games,they take up all your memory

Right off, add RAM. 256 is not enough for XP and anything else. You want at least 512 and maybe a Gb.
