I love Red Robin in Citrus Heights. Its not fancy but its very family orientated and they have an impressive selection of American food.

My favorite is Marrakech Moroccan Restaurant
it's located on 1833 Fulton Avenue, Sac
It's jus different, beautiful, fun and the food is amazing! I'm just a plain white girl and had never had Moroccan or Indian...nothing ethnic. This food is great and not scary at all! It's a great place to take a date or a big group of people...trust me you will have lots of laughs while eating with your hands.
It's a must try!

My husband said The Spaghetti Factory, definitely. Second would be Garcia's. He swears by both of these.

I love Scott's Seafood! Their seafood entrees are excellent in flavor and preparation - they also make the best clam chowder (New England style) in Sacramento (this is just my own opinion, of course..)
