I did a quick search on a couple of good pro-choice websites for abortion providers in Puerto Rico and did not find anything. I have heard that abortion laws there are quite strict, but I am not 100% sure. In my opinion, it's probably best to get this done before you leave. Plus, the earlier you have your abortion, the less likely it will be for you to have medical complications.

Please do not pay attention to all the anti-choice rhetoric that will likely be posted in response to your question. If you believe that an abortion is the right choice for you, then you have to trust yourself.

I recommend getting in touch with the planned parenthood organization in your area. They are an amazing pro-choice group that can help you find a clinic as well as support you with whatever decision you make. Their website is: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/

Every child deserves the chance at life. My opinion is that abortion is murder. If you weren't prepared to have a baby you should have been more responsible and used protection. Just because you made a mistake by getting pregnant doesn't mean that child deserves to die. It is something that will scar you emotionally for the rest of your life. I am trying desperatly to have a baby and cannot. DO NOT take being able to have a child for granted, some people cannot have them. My nephew is alive today because of adoption. You can even opt for open adoption, where you can keep in touch with the family who adopts your child. My sister has an open adoption and my family sees my nephew all the time. The family adopting will often pay your medical expenses and everything. Please consider it. Take responsibility and give that child a chance at life. You never know what that child may grow up to be and do. Give him/her a chance to live.

MESSAGE: ABORTION IS MURDER, NO MATTER HOW YOU TRY TO JUSTIFY IT!!! ABORTION ENABLES WOMEN TO TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT AND NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS. THIS "EASY WAY OUT" IS NOT IN FACT EASY, ABORTION KILLS A CHILD, AND LEAVES EMOTIONAL AND SOMETIMES PHYSICAL SCARS FOR A LIFETIME. A REAL WOMAN WILL CHOOSE ADOPTION OVER ABORTION. MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE, CHOOSE LIFE!!!!!

Last I checked Puerto Rico is part of the amended US, so it goes by our laws...however don't abort, consider adoption for your baby if you don't want it believe me there are many people who would love to raise your baby. Please consider this, I know it's hard but you can do it. You will never regret it.
