I'm looking for mmorpgs (massive multi-player online role-playing games) that you either buy as a CD in a store and dont have to pay monthly (such as guldwars). Or a free 2D mmorpg that is acually very good and worth playing.
Also a free mobile mmo would be nice to suggest. Thanks.

I know star wars galaxies is a good star wars mmo.I m gonna try out Wow tonight Im downloading the trial.Some good text based mmo are hobowars.com and torncity.com.Have you tryed out runescape.

Runescape is ok (www.runescape.com). You start off as free but you can upgrade to members for which you pay a minimum of $5 a month. Graphics are not too bad but not spectacular and it has some annoying people but, overall, it is a true mmorpg experience. You can add me (xanthappus7) and I'll introduce you and help you in any way I can.

I'd suggest checking out some Lineage II private servers. On most private servers you don't have to pay any fee, and you can download the Lineage II client on the main site. (But most priv. servers are using Chronicle 4, not 5, beware.)

of path mmog. you are able to fulfill many acquaintances from mmog and it has vast community. My famous mmog is conquer on line. lots of my acquaintances are enjoying this interest too, it is so exciting.
