You have to exercise!

Believe it or not - exercise. If you go down and do about 20 crunches, it will help relieve your pain and cramps.

Other than that, foods you can eat that may help - tuna or salmon and 5 minute oatmeal (not necessarily together), however this takes longer (like doing it regularly for 2 or 3 weeks before your period).

If you have bad cramps regularly, or bad PMS, check out www.hufa.org. The suggestions there for balancing blood sugar also help for PMS and cramp relief.

You can apply a warm blanket or a hot bottle of water wrapped in a towel over your pelvic area.
It has been proved that heat can release those cramps.
They are due to a release of prostaglandines.
Next time it would be better to take ibuprofen 2 days before your period. You won't feel a thing.

Tell him you have a headache and want some Ibuprofen. (Advil, Motrin) It will really help and he won't have to know you are on your period. Then try soaking in a warm tub... a heating pad usually helps, but because that would draw attention to you, the warm tub will do the same thing and he'll just think you are taking a warm bath because your head hurts!

A heating pad will help, or you can take a hot shower and let it run on your stomach. There are lots of things you can do to prevent cramps too, avoid caffiene, make sure you get enough fluids, exercise, there are also certain vitamins/supplements that will help.

Take a washcloth, wet it , microwave it for 2mins.Once its finished put it inside a zip-lock bag,or plastic bag,and apply it to where the cramps are. you may want to cover it with a towel if it's too hot.You can re-warm it as many times as you like. Drink tons of water as well. you may have a problem of frequent urination, but the cramp will definitely let up.that's what works for me.

Hi You need to tell your dad, so he can go to Wal-Mart and get you some pain meds. This is coming from the Dad of a 12 year old girl. We know it is going to happen some day so he will not be surprised. p.s. We just hate to see you grow up so fast.

caffeine will ease the pain but they say that caffeine causes most pain before your period go figure . they to stop all caffeine intake about a week before your period it will help it subside a little after your period has started also try a hot water bottle or a heating pad on the stomach my wife did this until she learn about the caffeine trick

I had a gf who had really bad cramps and her doctor suggested she try masturbating when nothing else seemed to work, because I guess the contractions that having an orgasm causes relaxes the muscles and relieves the cramps.

Apply a heating pad or a hot water bottle (not too hot) onto your abdomen. If I were you, I'd tell my dad that I have a REALLY bad headache, and ask him for 2 Advil (liquid gels work best and fastest). Hope you feel better!
