how many of you like the old country music,like back in the 60s and 70s?i know i do,that is what i collect.

THAT'S back when country music still WAS country music. Back when it was still common to hear western and bluegrass on country stations as well. Back before country music started merging with pop music to get that crossover market (Thank you Kenny Rogers). Yeah...I know the stuff...Charley Pride...Merle Haggard..Willie Nelson...Charlie Daniels...Marty Robbins...back when you could tell just from the first few bars who a song was by...even if you had never heard the song before...Back when Cuontry artists had distinctive sounds rather than all trying for the sam sound just because someone had success with it...I grew up on that stuff...still take it over most contemporary country...not all..but most...

I like the old stuff, and don't really care much for the newer stuff. The stuff that is coming out today is pretty much pop music. One of the true country artists of today is George Strair, he's about the only one who has stuck to his roots.

I still love Patsy Cline. Also, I heard Ketty Lester's "Love Letters Straight From Your Heart" today. It's still pretty darn good.

at least it came from the heart (mostly)...now...go back a little bit and listen to some country from the 40s and 50s...that stuff will flat git it!!!

To be honest, its ok. I am more into the newer country. Faith, Tim, Shania, Gretchen, Keith.

I love all country. doesnt matter the decade. modern country classic country bluegrass. i love it all.
