Ok, I've had stomach problems all my life. About 1 1/2 months ago my doctor put me on some kind of pill...in around one month it made me gain 33 lbs! Now, I'm usually a fairly thin girl but gaining that much weight that fast will put a hurting on a persons skin. I'm only 17 and have gotten allot of stretch marks from this (on my legs and stomach). I know there are worse things in the world (believe me, because I have experienced them) but I am upset by this. I've quite taking the pills and am being sent to a specialist. I think I can lose the weight pretty fast but what am I to do with these stretch marks? Do you think that after I'm back to normal and I keep moisturized they will fade in a few months? And after they have faded I wear tanner you will barely see them? I need encouragement! lol, thanks in advanced.

if the strech marks are purple/red you can have a laser treatment to help remove them, but they usually fade on their own...to a silver color, or sometimes they completely fade depending on your skins elasticity

There is nothing you can really do about stretch marks but waist your money on expensive creams that won't work trust me..I know.Stretch Marks are scar tissue under the skin which can only be removed by laser surgery..Asks Mrs. Britney Spears/Federline..Have you seen how great she looks after giving birth less than a month ago.But some people just don't get stretch marks. But I've heard of celebrities such as Hedi Klum who's married to Seal who has had her stretch marks removed by laser..so it's possible if you wanna go that far!

Vitamin E oil, (buy capsules and poke a hole in them with a pin, it's cheaper) may help. Aloe is a very therapeutic gel also. Don't try to lose the weight too fast. If medication put it there, it could be awhile before you see the loss, but don't give up. It wasn't there before so it can be lost! GL hon and smart move, btw, changing docs. I believe the ones that hand out pills too quickly nowadays are just too darn lazy!

it is rediculous that your doctor did not warn you in advance, if he or she did not, that you could gain so much weight, as this seems very unhealthy, but I know that you can and will loose all of the excess that you have gained.

if you can not loose the stretch marks (and, I would be pissed too) with the passing of time, cocoa butter or other creams, the only other alternative that I can think of, is laser surgery.

good luck

Some of them might fade. You could always try using cocoa butter and this stuff called mederma. I hope this helps!
