I have medium dark skin complection. the problem is that i can NEVER find the right make-up to go with the color of my skin....I need some suggestions....

Go to the makeup counters...like Clinique, MAC, Estee Lauder, etc. at Macy's or Nordstrom and they will show you the right foundation and concealer colors, and what other makeup will look good on you, and they will usually do your makeup for you and show you how to apply everything. Great people. They work wonders.

Visit a makeup counter. Lancome, Clinique, MAC, Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier have the best foundations. Make sure you look at the foundation that is on your face in the sunlight. You wouldn't believe what a difference this makes. Also, don't try to find a foundation color by putting it on your wrist or hand. Make sure it blends evenly at the jawline.

I agree with everyone that a makeup counter is your best best. There are a few brands that specialize in true color foundation. The one thing I wanted to add to everyones suggestions is your concealer, remember that should be one shade lighter than your foundation. And whatever brand you use. Blending in the key to all "good" foundation.

I suggest you try Bare Minerals. They don't have very many colors and don't NEED to have very many. The colors accentuate your natural color, rather than trying to match it. I suggest you choose a color one shade lighter than you think you need. You can purchase bare minerals at:

I use it and will never turn back. I have a HORRIBLE time finding colors that work. I'm VERY light skinned but am also olive skinned....an unusual color to find.

going to the make-up counter is the easiest way, but before buying the makeup apply some makeup to your rist, they say that is the closest to your color on your face.

well gold looks VERY good on people with your skin colour! you are so lucky to be able to use that colour! also for lips, you can go with gold as well, and also deep reds! they look beautifull! you could go to one of the makeup counters at David Jones for example and as about it there!

umm ask on a mack counter dey have de best makeup maybe u jst need a few layers of diferent brons tats hw dey found main !!!
