Actually, I think we do. Because when the door closes it pushes a button when we turn it off. Open your Fridge and push that button with your finger with out closing the door. & the light goes off. Ha. Well I have wondered that before. So that's why I know what to do!..

Lol - my brother and I had this argument some years ago and set up a little experiment with a camera.... the light does go out! I won, no conspiracy (sorry to burst your bubble) end of story.... the only other way we could think of to test the theory was for one of us to be INSIDE the fridge when the door was closed, but neither was willing to do it haha

it does. I know all! Okay that is a lie, but I do know that, that light goes out. And so does the dryer (I can still fit in the dryer.)

yes it goes out.....if it didn't then the bulb would get really hot and spoil the food after a time ...
