It was..the lousy,money hungry network cut it out so that they can put more useless commercials on TV. It's a sin to not show the singing of our national anthem,especially in this day and age. I'm surprised that they didn't miss airing the first pitch as they've done before,both on TV and radio.

Yeah that's what I want to know also. I have no real emotional investment in the Star Spangled Banner as the National Anthem, but it was the first time I've ever seen it not performed at the World Series in my life.

It may offend others.. after all.. didn't everyone want change.
We're also teaching their pledge of allegiance, rather than our own..
Anything else we should give be giving up, to accommodate others, and not offend..
