I usually look at their behavior or what type of fish in order to name mine. I have an opaque jaw fish named Casper and 3 sea horses. I call the Squirt, Erine, and Tony. Without seeing your fish I'm lost. I had a Betta that i called sneaky Pete because he always hid in my decorations.
