Do you have a problem with guys 50 and over riding a motorcycle? Your question reeks of prejudice against older men. One day if you're lucky you will see the back side of 50 and I hope some day some young kid looks at you and says "ewww...you're OLD!" I'm 57 and have been riding since I was 19. I'll bet I can out ride anybody half my age.

All men who ride motorcycles are not over 50. Next time you're out look at those riding the crotch rocket bikes. You'll find very few over 50 guys on those. The ergonomics of crotch rockets is not comfortable for most 50+ guys.

Depends on what State you must be in , In florida every age is out riding ,younger seem to like the sport bike more and the guys on the cruisers do seem older ,But we been there done that and when you get older things start to slow down , A lot of Women riders are taking to the street here too. but you never see any super models out riding ,

I don't know where you're at, but only about half of them around here are over 50. Maybe once you get to be 50, you have more time to ride. Younger guys are busy paying bills, raising families, and working.

That was the last generation of boys taught to be men by their fathers. Oprah and that bunch said that its takes a village of women to rasies a boy . Subsequently, the next generation gave rise to what is called (seriously), "the pussification of America". The under-40 crowd prefers cages because they are not as manly, self-relieant or adventurous.

I'm 51 still have hair and prefer to Drive a 2006 400 hp Pontiac GTO. My mind wanders to much for a Bike. And we have to wait for the kids to get married and graduate as doctors to treat the injurys from bike accidents.

this one is for ronb48146. A good friend of mine whos around 50 or so has been riding sportbikes for years, for the last three he's been on a GSXR 1000, not all old guys want to ride cruisers and not all sportbike guys kill themselves.
