When you are 2 percentage points below a mean for a course, what does that mean interms of your percentile placement? Please someone educate me. Thanks

It means that you are lower in percentile. Without knowing the standard deviation, you cannot determine by how much

Since you are below the mean, you know that you are less than 50-percentile, assuming a normal distribution
