I don't mind paying taxes.
I do mind Corporations that Net billions not paying. (see Tax us if you can)
As for terror we can deal with it. It will require some intense commitments on the part of the American people but it is obtainable.
First we need to secularize terrorism get the Islamic community out of the equation. Then systematically destroy every trace of terrorism.
Everyone can start now. Stop calling them Islamic terrorist and call them what they are Saudi terrorist and Yemen terrorist. By secularizing them Islam is forced to denounce them. the opposite of embracing them as Muslims which provokes a primal defensive posture.
Zero tolerance eradication of all that suggest anything against America. We all know that true Islam is the religion of peace. All that are not peaceful are not of Islam. They are criminals.
In America criminals are dealt with every day it makes no difference who they want to pray with or to, they do their time if they do a crime.

Tell the radical Islamics to stop killing & beheading inocent people & the killing will stop. WE did not start this war, they did. Saddem was paying young men $25,000 to blow themselves up & killing people. Someone had to stop him, the UN sure was not. As for the schools, the only way to make it truly secure & safe is to put detecters on every door including bathrooms. But money alone is not the answer. We need to deal more harshily with the kids causeing the problems. No more slaps on the wrist. Real punishment for real crimes. The libs think the more money you throw at a problem the easier it is to solve. I have news for them. It does not work. The goverment never solved a problem yet, they only make it worse.Let the people keep the money & solve their own problems. They know better then Washington how to solve local problems.

Pay more. For the money we have spent on education in this country, everyone should be a freaking Einstein. For the money we have given the world in loans and handouts poverty should have disappeared before I got into highschool in the 60's. How much more should we spend? Why should I have my hard earned dollars to help the crotchfruit of some lazy loafer who will not avail themselves of this education you wish to throw money at. I have a better idea, take all them people that are perpetual welfare types and just kill them. Execution, get rid of the homeless, the nonworking drug addicts and lakies. I bet you will see a few million people get a real fast trip to the job center.

I would never support paying more taxes. We spend too much on entitlements. We waste too much. I pay half of my income in taxes and it is way too much.
1. Stop the killing-the killing will end when the terrorists are dead, leaders of nations who aid them are gone, and when the terrorists have no hope.
2. On government schools, the only way to fix them is get the government out of schools. The teachers unions are corrupt and will not have accountability. Private vouchers will put competiton in and force schools to get results.
3. I do not care one bit about what the rest of the world thinks of us.
I find it funny that you, a known liberal, talk about Bin Laden and Iraq. If the people you vote for were in power, we would have never taken Saddam out, probably had a few attacks, and given Iran a nuke to get them to leave us alone. You have no standing to comment on these issues.

Well, if we could get Islam to reform, we'd be well on the way toward that goal. Do you have some idea how bureaucrats filling their pockets with our money would really make things better?
You have better watch some of the films from Socialist-run States, like Cuba. You'll learn that more taxes result in bigger bureaucracies.
[Wite Out - let's arm the school teachers and staff. Won't cost much at all.]

The taxes won't matter on the "killing" and "respect". Personally, I'm astounded people care so much what other people thing. However, the public school system I would pay more money for if they were run correctly. This is state and local tax predominately, so the answer would be different depending on where you live.

We don't need to stop the killing. We just need to start killing the right people instead of people who don't deserve it. When education becomes more important in this country than catching a stupid ball, then teachers will make as much as anyone in the NFL.

Oh neddie, I thought you were above lame blanket liberal statements. Guess I was wrong. You can pay as much as you want for taxes. The government will spend it wisely, I promise.
Unfortunately, you're really not looking for answers, just perpetuating the liberal hate machine. Otherwise, you would research just how many tax hikes IN YOUR LOCALITY have taken place in the last 50 years of elections all in the name of peace, better schools, and respect, all which obviously have not worked.

So, you seem to think that if you are comfortable, it doesn't matter if a tyrant is systematically killing entire ethnic groups. It doesn't matter if women are systematically raped and if men are ripped from their families and killed.
I would pay more takes to do a lot of things, but I don't see how that will put an end to monsters like Saddam.
Would you have said we should have not fought in WWII?
All you seem to care about is YOUR human rights.

NO ! ! !
what we all need to do is get together and stop our government ( both sides ) from spending OUR tax money like it is water...
giving it away to other countries just because....
do you know that all senators and congressmen when they retire get their complete full pay for the rest of their lives and if they die, their wives get the full pay with ALL benefits, where as your parents or you when you retire loss your benefits and get only about 1/3 of you pay....
this would save BILLIONS of dollars and NO NEED TO RAISE TAXES ..there is more than enough money right now..they need to stop spending it like water..
good luck..
