When it comes to celebrities, what disappoints you most?

It always disappoints me to know the actor hated a character he portrayed and the subject matter of the show he starred in. I like the actor to have passion for the role.

When I read years later that the actor thought the plot and character was foolish, when I was a fan of the character, I'm disappointed. I don't hate the actor for thinking as he does, I just hate that so much of the enthusiasm I'd hoped was put into the character, might never have existed.

I hate to hear their complaints about privacy. They choose a career in the public eye and then get mad. I am not saying the paparazzi is right to be in their faces 24/7 but come on now if you didnt' want the attention dont' go into that career field. I also dont' like just how much money they make. Practically begging people to go and watch their movies. Please I refuse to spend 1/2 an hrs pay to see one of the movies I will wait until it is "free" to watch it and only if it is interesting enough then. I dont' rent, buy ppv or buy movies anymore. I refuse to spend my hard earned money to hear them complain about not making enough for this film or that. Same with musicians. I will listen to the radio and watch videos on line but buying a cd oh no.

I hate it when a celebrity has a cause. They jam it down your throat with vapid enthusiasm and expect you to applaud and "change the world" by buying a stupid gadget.
I also hate that babies are accessories now, everyone who is anyone is touting a frigginadopted toddler and acting like a soccor mom. Its all part of the same sickness. Too much money and time on their hands. Not enough real friends left to tell them they are acting like total jackasses.

i get really dissapointed when actors start out young and are great, they are role models, inspiring, etc.. but when they get older 90% of them end up doing drugs or smoking or just being stupid with their life choices. and then they blame the press and the fans with too much pressure but really that is only a quarter of it the rest is all by decision. u can decide weather to do drugs or not, its not like fans are standing right their saying "do it or we wont like you". it just bothers me how they start out so great and hit rock bottom by like 17 or 18.

Their lack of mystery. They all have big mouths and reveal too much of their personal preferences and personal lives. Most of them need to attend charm school. I think most, not all, are a poor example to our young impressionable kids. Old time stars showed class and had glamor. Look at Brittany Spears....what a cow.

As an athlete, I get very upset when yet another celebrity athlete gets busted for performance enhancing drugs. I do not want to become jaded, but it is getting close to that point.

What really disappoints me about celebrities is that most of them seem to loose their sence of reality and get the attitude of "Im better than you."

I am disappointed when celebrities forget about their fans, like their fans had nothing to do with getting them where they are today.

it really bothers me that people like cuba gooding jr. only gets sucky roles that were meant for folks like jim carey or some other dope..every movie this guy did (except for the navy diver one) were cheesy and ridiculous and he came off like a buffoon...thats sad to me

What I dislike the most about celebrities is that they don't give back to the community....well, most of them don't. That irritates me the most because they should give back to the world that has made them famous.
