Try "Trilogy Of Terror". It's about a Voodoo doll that comes to life and terrorizes a woman trapped in her apartment. It scared the hell out of me!

Anthony Hopkins is terrifying in Silence of the Lambs
The Exorcist
My brother recommends Saw
If you get into it, the idea behind the birds is scary
I watched the ring at like 2 am so that was scary, I'm not sure about the light of day though

The only movie that I could not sleep at night after was a documentary on the Rwandan genocide (actually there was one on Ugandan Child soldiers that did it for me too) But that's probably not the kind of scary you're looking for

Well i am not a big scary movie fan and i get scared really easily. My dad is a big scary movie fan and he saw this movie and he himself was scared so i would suggest The Hills Have Eyes, the unrated rerson to make it even more scary.

The new Amittyville and the Grudge are supsenseful, scary movies. I hear the remake of The Hills Have Eyes is very disturbing also, but I have yet to see it. Stay away from Stay Alive and Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis. They are yawners.

"House of a Thousand Corpses"
"Devil's Rejects"
"The Hills have Eyes"
"The Omen"
and my all time favorite "Rosemary's Baby". Mind you, the movie is a bit dated since it's from 1969 but it's really sinister. Movies don't need a lot of gore to be scary. Have fun.

No such thing as a scary movie. All movies are fake.
