okay i have a relitive she but i pc and is usaly having trouble and wants help,,,she knows how to use a pc but not that good and she always needs help and going over her house is to much trouble....now i have cable internet and she has aol and i use aim to comunicate with her but that is not help enough...and i want to control her pc so i can help her so please is there a prgoram that lets you do that ,,,,i dont know her ip adress and she odesnt even know how to pull it up so please is there a program to control her pc ....thanks!

Go visit her. You can really fix things and teach her when you are in the same building. If you just DO, she learns nothing, and retains her grip of dependency on you.

If you're both using Windows, the easiest way is with something called Remote Assistance. See this page:

She requests you to a remote session, then you connect, then she requests that you take control of the pc. She can watch while you control the mouse and keyboard.

Use PC Anywhere or Carbon Copy. Both let you dial up the other computer and see its display and hit keys for it.

net meeting is great it lets you do all that you need but u do need your ip address..you can easily figure out how to retrieve it off the internet

Are you both running XP if so you can connect to their computer via REMOTE DESKTOP and do anything you want to their comptuer...Thanks
