You can import almost anything you want from any other countrirs; except, of course, some products could be prohibited.
Depend on the country you deal with. Some country could have more favoruable import duties, while others don't. If you do not have any experience, I would suggest you buy a business start up manual from the Entrepreneur Magazine entitled "How to Start a Import Export Business". You should be able to find them on your search engine - Entrepreneur Magazine. If not, eamil me. I will show you how.

I don't know what kind of volume you think you can move, but it all hinges on volume, the price, the availability, the quality, etc.
I've helped a few people for free on this same concept, but it is time and energy consuming, so I'll have to get a fee for my time.
I'm already busy without this.
You need to know the specifics of garment specs, everything right down to buttons, etc. then there are the fabrics, then the letter of credit, the vessel charges, there's sewing and logo set-up charges. You need a sample run, etc. I can get you a cap, for example, same plant as Ralph Lauren, 4th floor rather than 3rd, double logos stitched, etc. for about $5 per unit (if you buy enough of them)
Another example, high end goods, packaging requires specs.

Just buy it from someone, thats it, of course you pay duty when it arrives here.
and if it's clothes, then I think the duty is alot higher.
make sure you have a business license from your city, and pay tax on what you sell
