I think so. Remember, in sports it's all about mental preparation, physical talent and a small bit of luck!
-Luck is needed on special teams, defense and offense.
-The Bears will choke in the playoffs just like the Colts. Grossman isn't the answer. Notre Dame is the Dallas Cowboys of college football. They'll finish in the top 10, but because the media loves them!
-Auburn never gets the respect it deserves.

Look at the final offensive ND play see how Quinn could have thrown an easy pick their, and held the ball a little longer to win the game. Luck had nothing to do with it, it was all about a collapse on the defense by taking the bait of the pump fake, and then not wrapping up on their tackles(shades of the oregon game). Chicago not luck either good defense and an offense that is slightly better than average will win a lot of games. Get off the luck crap, anytime a team wins people dont like and it was close it was just luck.

Notre Dame is a great college and is common ultimate for its soccer. it incredibly is a great group to cheer for. final year they weren't very food yet i think of they'll do lots extra ideal this year. I can't speak for ND, I don't follow college ball.
As far as the Bears go, Urlacher played one of the greatest games a middle linebacker ever played against Arizona.
Did you see him strip the ball from Edgerrin James, and Tillman ran the ball back for a touchdown?
Did you see Mark Anderson hit Leinart and Mike Brown ran the ball back for a touchdown?
Did you see Hester make a great run back for a touchdown?
The Bears defense willed that victory. It wasn't given to them by the Cardinals or by luck, they created their own breaks.
A pretty damn good team can win a game like that, its not luck nor is it being overrated.
The Bears weren't lucky when they spanked Seattle now were they. You just don't like the Bears, thats all.

Hard to call an undefeated team overrated. Didn't desrve to win, for sure. But go back to the Miami undefeated season, and see how mant THEY shouldn't have won. Might surprise ya. As for the Irish, I am decidedly not a fan, but you gotta love what Weiss has done with 'em, and that Brady guy looks pretty good.

When you play a sport with an irregular shaped ball, bounces are unpredictable. Both of those teams, of which I am not a fan, have one thing in common. They are believing in their coaches systems and are expecting to win. ND could have gone in the tank against MSU as well as today. Chicago could have hung it up against Minnesota, as well as Arizona. But they didn't because they are still drinking the Kool-aid. While I still expect Chicago to lose in the first round of the playoffs, I expect them to earn the top seed in the NFC. ND won't have a chance to play OSU in the Fiesta Bowl, but Quinn might go #1 next April.

your right, but when you think positive anything can happen, the bears were embarassed the first half Monday night and they came out fighting and Brady Quinn of Notre Dame is a winner and doesn't like to settle for anything less.

i hate notre dame, but they deserved to win because they played a full 60 minutes while UCLA collapsed defensively. as far as the bears, they took advantage of a relaxed arizona team who thought they had it wrapped up. the game is 60 minutes. make sure you play all of them.

Even if the Bears did lose, they'd still be 5-1. And STILL be the top-rated team in the NFC. They're not overrated. Only a moron would ignore what a team accomplishes in five games to focus on the shortcomings of a single game. I've watched all six of their games beginning to end. let me guess: all you've seen of them is that MNF game, right?

The Bears are not only luck, like the Irish. The Irish can only win on luck, the Bears only won on luck once this season, and it was the last game. Michigan proved how the Irish can only win on luck after they were trampled over.
