It means you can be arrested since you have fail to do you civic duty.
Your best opinion would be to turn yourself in and throw yourself on the mercy.

IF you don't then some day you will be stopped and it will show up when your name is ran on the computer system. You will then be arrested in front of family, friends and or coworkers.

It means that you failed in an essential duty of a citizen. You failed to show up for jury duty. This is a criminal act and you are now subject to arrest. Best thing you can do is to take the notice and get over to the Public Defender's Office ASAP and get an attorney. Otherwise you are about to get locked up until the case can be heard. As you missed the jury duty notice and didn't show, the court is not obliged to grant bail and can hold you until the case is disposed of. Some states this is a felony and can result in prison time and a bar from jobs of trust.

Failing to report for jury duty is a crime. If they issued a warrant for your arrest, local law enforcement very well could pick you up and either drag you down to court to serve or to answer the charges. The penalties vary by state, so you would be well advised to consult a local attorney on how to clear this up. You can't ignore notices from the court just because you think you don't have time.

When a juror does not show up, a warrant can be issued for his or her arrest. Most judges don't go to this extreme. Pursuing a warrant is a threat to have one issued.

It means you are REQUIRED to go to jury duty. If there is a reason you can't go, then it must be approved by the court.

You should have read the jury duty documents more closely.

You have to show up when you get notice. You cannot simply ignore it. I suggest going down to the court house and working this out. If not, if you ever get pulled over, they will arrest you.

If you didn't contact them prior to your jury date with an eligible excuse to not go to court then they can arrest you. And going to school and work not letting you off would have been eligible excuses.

Jury duty is not optional, dude.

If you get a notice to serve, you have to show up, and hope they will excuse you.

It means you are going to have a boyfriend you didn't want.

Get ahold of the court ASAP and explain to them what happened, if you had school you should have gotten a note and taken care if this ahead of time.
