The oil pump is behind the crank pulley and has the front crank seal mounted in it. Chances are the oil pump is fine, they are pretty durable. They are also a pain to replace with the engine in the vehicle... need to remove the timing belt etc and 6 bolts that fasten it to the front of the block, oil pick up tube, oil pan, crank pulley, etc. Start with the oil sending unit and see if that doesn't cure the problem...

OK now what did you do! Oil pressure light blinking and less than 10 psi on the instrument? Did you change oil with thinner than normal oil? Regularly used 20/50 and mistakenly put in at the last oil change 0/40 or 10/40 oil? Oil is oil right? NOT. The pressure sending unit can be all that is wrong. How many miles does this coupe, T top or 2x2 have on it?
Now the bad news timing belt and cover has to be removed oil pan has to be removed crankshaft pulley and timing belt sprocket has to be removed. I almost always recommend removing the entire engine if the car has over 100.000 miles on it. Then a JDM Japan motor with low miles or used engine out of an American wreck.
